Committee on Economic Affairs

Mission: To provide a forum for NYSPA psychiatrists to discuss issues that impact the economic life of psychiatrists.

Accomplishments: Championed the endeavor initiated by member Edward Gordon, MD, to revise the CPT coding for psychiatrists resulting in increased reimbursements for services and lessening the gap between psychiatrists and other physicians.
